Why Do I Need a Website? I’m Already in the Yellow Pages

We understand you have a limited amount of your yearly budget to spend on marketing and there are a lot of different things you could spend that on… print advertising, radio, television, billboards, and yes, the yellow pages. Think though for a minute about how people in today’s world find new information… when people want to find out something about a business they don’t usually turn to the yellow pages, they first turn to the web.

When a potential customer searches for your business on a search engine like Google, what happens when you don’t have a website? We can tell you… the websites of all of your competitors show up. You don’t have to have a complicated website but every business needs to have at least a basic website so that your customers can find you. Your customers will expect you to have a website and every day that you don’t, you’re losing business.

What’s it going to cost?

Every single project we work on is unique and therefore prices can vary greatly. For us to build a very basic site for your business, you can expect to spend about $1000. Our top of the line, every bell and whistle in the book, make your customers eyes pop out of their heads website will probably be closer to $5000. That may seem like a lot of money but check with some of our competitors… many of our competitors sites START at $5000 and some local companies charge $10,000 or more. We believe you’ll find that New Frame Media is the best web design deal in town.

Are there any other expenses

We charge a flat fee of $150 a year for hosting your website. That means that we provide the computers on which your website will be stored, we back it up nightly, and we make sure your site is always online and ready to go.

If your site design requires the use of any stock photography, there will be a small charge for that as well, usually around $15 per image. There will never be any hidden or surprise fees. If something comes up in the design stage that is going to cost extra, we will always get your approval before moving forward.

Do you guarantee your work? What if we don’t like it?

We will work with you every single step of the way to make sure you absolutely love the direction we are taking with your new website. We’ll keep working until we find the look that fits your vision for what your site should be.

How long will it take to design my website?

Again, every website is unique and this will vary somewhat based on how complex your website will be but most sites are ready to go within 30-60 days. A very basic site could conceivably be finished in 2 weeks or less.

Do I have to maintain the website myself?

You certainly can if you like… all of our sites feature an easy to use content management system. That means that you or any of your employees can update certain elements of your website from any computer anywhere. You can easily update text copy and depending on your computer knowledge you can also update certain graphics and other elements of your site.

However, most of our clients prefer to let us handle keeping their websites up to date and fresh. The absolute WORST thing you can do with a website is to let the information go out of date. When most potential customers see a website with obviously old information the first thing they will assume is that you’ve gone out of business. Don’t let that happen!

What do you charge for website maintenance?

We offer two easy plans to keep your website current and also to make sure your site is performing at the highest level possible.

Maintenance plan A – $50 per month.

Maintenance plan B – $100 per month.

up to 2 hours of content updates each month
Monthly statistics report
Limited search engine optimization performed monthly
Hosting is included (your $150 a year hosting fee is waived)

Maintenance plan C – $200 per month.

unlimited phone and email support
up to 5 hours of content updates each month
Highly detailed monthly statistics report
Full search engine optimization including metatag and keyword development
Hosting is included (your $150 a year hosting fee is waived)
Social networking – we will maintain and update a Facebook fan page as well as a Twitter page for your business

These plans are not all inclusive. We can work with you to create a plan that is right for your business. We can discuss your specific needs and come up with a great plan with a fair price.

If I don’t purchase a plan, can you still do updates?

Absolutely. We can make site updates for you anytime at a rate of $50 per hour and we will bill you by the quarter hour. So, if you have a simple text update that only takes 15 minutes, you would only be charged $12.50.
